Everyone has a legal right to vote, but not everyone exercises that right. In fact, whether regional or national, in a lot of elections, even getting 60% of eligible persons out to vote, to exercise their legal right, is a 'miracle'!
PROVISIONAL
Similarly, the provision of being made, "...a new creation [that never existed before]; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Cor. 5:17), is available to all, and the Lord is "...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Pet.3:9), but not everyone embraces that truth and receives the Lord Jesus Christ, and is "...born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever" (1 Pet. 1:23), because not everyone will "...receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls" (James 1:21).
HEALED or not HEALED
Jesus, God in the flesh, 'came into His own country' [Nazareth], (Mk.6:1) and told the people that "...mighty works are wrought by His hands" (Mk.6:2), but "...He could there do NO MIGHTY WORK, except that He laid His hands on a few sick folks ['people with minor diseases' (Williams), that basically didn't have much wrong with them], and healed them" (Mk.6:5); so "...He went round about the villages, teaching" (Mk.6:6). They didn't receive the Word, so they also didn't receive the healing.
ON THIS ROCK
Flesh and blood didn't reveal to Peter that Jesus is "...the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt.16:16), but on the solid rock of revelation, Jesus said, "...I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt.16:18). [The gates of the city were where the elders and leaders of the city met and legal counsel and transactions took place [Like Boaz 'purchasing' Ruth, at the gate of the city (Ruth 4:1-12)]. Jesus was saying that all the counsel and strategy of the enemy, will come to no avail against the church, but further, what is implied, is that the church will have authority over the enemy; controlling the gates of the enemy].
REVELATION
Everything comes by revelation, and it doesn't come any other way. The goal, or result of maturity, both individually, and corporately, is for us to "...grow up into Him in all things..." (Eph.4:15), which is why we need each other.
PAUL'S PRAYERS FOR REVELATION
More than anything, Paul prayed for the church, "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power" (Eph.1:17-19). Again, he said that we, "...do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col.1:9-10). Again, in a capsulized version, his prayer was "...that the communication of your faith may become effectual by the knowledge of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus" (Philemon 6).
KNOWLEDGE
The word for knowledge in each of these passages, is (epignosis), 1922, which is from ( gnosis), knowledge gained through the senses, [touch, taste, feel, smell, hear]; natural, physical perception, but the prefix (epi), is an intensifier, meaning that which is above and beyond. This word, used 20 times in the NT, is revelation knowledge; spiritual realization, above and beyond mere physical or sense knowledge, that, once received, causes the individual's behavior and actions to conform to the revelation they have embraced.
KENNETH HAGIN
Some may have a tremendous revelation concerning healing, like Kenneth Hagin, who walked in, what he called 'divine health', and died, physically, without sickness and disease. His scriptural teachings on the authority of the Believer and walking in what belongs to you; walking by faith, are of tremendous benefit to the body of Christ, but not everyone walks in 'divine health', only those that 'see it', or have a revelatory insight into the truth of God's Word. God told him to 'go and teach my people faith', and he did.
TL & DAISY OSBORN
TL and Daisy Osborn, those great missionary statesmen, traveled the unreached world holding mass crusades with thousands of spectacular miracles, because they had faith; a revelation of the truth of God's Word, not only of their authority, but the unwavering faith to reach the masses.
LESTER SUMRALL
Lester Sumrall founded the largest church in the Philippines, at the time, and had a tremendous revelation of the authority of the Believer and casting out demons, and then came back to America, at 50, and built a world outreach center of television, feeding the hungry, radio broadcasts, and reportedly reached over a million people, through that revelation, that received the Lord Jesus Christ.
ORAL ROBERTS
With the message that God is a good God, Oral Roberts walked in the revelation of not only seeing multitudes come to Christ, but brought the message of hope and divine healing to countless thousands; healed by the power of God.
DR. JAMES DOBSON
The 'born again' Believer and clinical psychologist and founder of Focus on the Family, the Christian organization that, at an international level, brought biblical principles, and practical support to hundreds of thousands of families in strengthening marriages and raising godly children, because he had a revelation from God of bringing those truths to people.
APOSTLE PAUL
The importance of citing these founders of the faith, is that each walked in the revelation that they received, and impacted the world, because of their obedience to that revelation. Paul, by the Spirit of God, in reciting his encounter with, and revelation of, the Lord Jesus Christ, who told him that he was sending him to the Gentiles, "to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me" (Acts 26:18); concerning which, he said, "I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision" (Acts 26:19).
REALITY
Every truth and reality of the scriptures is available to everyone to experience and enjoy, however, not everyone will experience what is their legal right, even though it is available to them.
Salvation is available to all; not all are saved/delivered, but only those that "...receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save..." (James 1:21).
Healing is available to all, but not everyone is healed, but "...great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him [Jesus] of their infirmities" (Lk. 5:15), "...a great multitude of people...came to hear Him [Jesus], and to be healed of their diseases" (Lk. 6:17), and the ones that heard, were healed.
Every Believer is "...the righteousness of God..." (2 Cor. 5:21), in Christ Jesus, and few know what that means, and even fewer walk in that authority, because they don't have the revelation of that authority.
THE WAY TO WEALTH
Despite the fact that "...though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might be rich" (2 Cor. 8:9), few will walk in that reality; only those where the Word has come to them, and like every other truth, they have revelation; they see it, and begin to walk in it. Like those that followed Jesus that came to "...hear...to be healed..." (Lk. 5:15; 6:17):
Hear...to be Saved/Delivered
Hear...to be Righteous
Hear...to be Healed
Hear...to be Rich
You are God's Best and God's Best is Yours
