Power to Produce! (Deuteronomy 8:18; Genesis 39:2-4)

 DEUTERONOMY 8:18 says, "...you shall remember the LORD your God; for He gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers..."

The LXX says, "...He gives you strength to produce power..."

WEALTH

Wealth is seen as an intrinsic power; something that an individual or group possesses internally, that creates the tangible results of money; finance; buildings; goods and services; etc.

JOSEPH

Joseph was sold into Egypt as a slave, and he found himself living as a servant, in the house of Potiphar, but, though he was a slave, the scriptures say, "...the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man..." (Gen.39:2). The Amplified says, "...he was a successful and prosperous man...".

PROSPEROUS

At the moment of that declaration, Joseph hadn't done anything; produced anything; said anything, but God declared, he was "...a successful and prosperous man..."

GENESIS 39:3-4

The scripture goes on to say, "...his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand" (Gen.39:3). The result was that his master "...made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand" (Gen.39:4).

WHO WE ARE

Joseph wasn't prosperous because of what he did, he was prosperous because of who he was! The evidence of prosperity and success is manifested for all to see, eventually, but it already exists inside the individual, long before the successful person that they are, becomes obviously evident, to everyone around them.

BORN to WIN

If you are born of God, you have His life and nature on the inside of you, and that is not the nature of failure and defeat. God is not a failure!... and neither are you! You were born to win; to succeed in life; to be above and not beneath; to excel and triumph in life!

GOD WITH US

The common thread in Genesis 39:2 and 3, is that "...the LORD was with Joseph...". This doesn't mean that God was just hanging around with Joseph, and everywhere Joseph went, God tagged along. No! It means that the God of abundance; the God of success; the God of deliverance; was an integral part of his every day life!

GOD IN US!

Our Father God is no respecter of persons, and the success and prosperity that Joseph experienced, because God was with him, is exponentially magnified with us, because God is not just WITH us, but He is IN us!

ALREADY SUCCESSFUL

You are already a success; a prosperous person; an achiever in life; but you may not know it yet. Once you begin to know the success that the Father has already destined you for, in every area of life, then, and only then, others too, will begin to recognize, the untapped potential and resources, that you already possess.

WHO YOU ARE

You already are a prosperous man or woman, not because of what may have already been evidenced, but because of who you are!
