Overflowing the Banks (Part 3) (John 10:10; Ephesians 3:20)

JOHN 10:10 says, "...I am declaring emphatically, with the strongest assertion possible, that the only reason I am come is so that you might have, and keep on having My life, and have, and keep on having it, to the extent that, like a swelling river, this life over flows it's banks, and in exhaustless measure, continues to flow and exceed all conceivable expectations or conceptions."

ABUNDANTLY

An aspect of this word (perissos), translated in the KJV as "abundantly", is the comparative analysis that is intrinsic in it's meaning. It contains two specific areas of meaning, that are defined as measureless:

QUANTITY

1) The word relates firstly to quantity. In quantity there is no comparison, so that whatever standard of achievement is reached, in any aspect, this exceeds and goes beyond what is defined, to new levels; new heights; new accomplishments, not just breaking existing barriers, but continuously adding more to any possible aspect of attainment, creating measureless, exhaustless amounts. Truly, as Ephesians 3:20 attempts to define what is undefinable, there is an ever increasing overflow of abundance, that is exhaustless, and above and beyond, in comparison, to what can be defined, as exhaustless abundance, by anything that our minds can conceive; imagine; or even attempt to fathom!

QUALITY

2) Secondly, the word relates to quality. The word speaks of a quality that is matchless, and not only is it matchless, there is no standard of comparison to even remotely attempt to define, by analysis, the quality achieved, so that all that would come before it pales and fails to even dare to place itself anywhere near the value and worth of something so measureless. It is like a new species that never existed before, and yet there it is, in all it's radiant beauty, for all to gaze at in awe and wonder. Or, it is like trying to grasp the transparent, effervescent, gold of heaven, when all we are familiar with is the limited sparkle and shine of earthly gold, dug from dirt!

QUALITY & QUANTITY

These two intrinsic aspects of (perissos), obviously relate to origins in our Father God, that have been imparted and implanted into us, by spiritual infusion, so that they permeate our being and are the core essence of our substance and existence. To think less of ourselves is to demean and disparage the creative character and nature of our Father. In other words, this creative force and nature within us, produces quantity and quality, second to none. In fact, everything that we do or say is marked by divine origins in heaven, so that we cannot help but have limitless thoughts of expansion and development, [because God is our Father], creating what has never before been conceived and producing beyond what many thousands of people would have even dreamed could be done.

SPIRITUAL NATURE

The more we allow our true spiritual nature to dominate us the more we will demonstrate measureless; exhaustless accomplishments, seen by all. We truly are children of our Father, and our life and value is defined by him, to the extent that everything that He is, flows through us, for the benefit; salvation; and deliverance of all humanity. It is crucial that we take off the limitations of our earthly confinement, to the limitless; measureless producing potential of our Father within us. He truly has given us super abundance within, without measure, in quantity and quality, and the degree that we allow His matchless imagination to think through our thoughts in creative surge, is the degree that we will impact our world with the life-changing power of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
